The Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation is seeking an eager, outgoing, self-motivated individual to fill the position of Correctional Counselor 2. This employee will provide counseling and services to an assigned caseload for offenders housed in a correctional facility. This will include vocational counseling, testing, evaluations, and substance abuse counseling. This employee will also provide guidance for offenders on work release. This employee will assist with all regular mail and the legal mail process. Completion of a 4-week training at an offsite facility is required. Will perform related work as assigned.
