Under general supervision, the Corrections Case Manager will serve as an integral member of a team responsible for providing comprehensive services to an assigned caseload of inmates within a correctional facility. The case manager’s role will focus on the overall management of inmates, ensuring that their needs are met, and may include providing individual or group counseling.The Corrections Case Manager may assist in the development and implementation of treatment programs, creating case histories, and gathering collateral information related to placement, treatment, and court matters. The role also involves writing detailed reports and recommendations regarding inmate behavior, placement, and performance for submission to the circuit courts. Additionally, the case manager will oversee inmate movement, acting as a liaison between inmates and various stakeholders, including facility staff, legal representatives, family members, treatment providers, and court officials.
