What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lottery Security Systems Administrator - Revenue - Lottery Commission - Kanawha Co. position at West Virginia?
Under the direction of the Deputy Director of Security. Oversee the confidential Multistate Lottery rules and compliance, involving the Video Lottery and IT departments; manages the security access for approximately 400 hundred employees associated with six separate agencies; Manages and maintains the 200 video cameras in the 13 story multi-state agency Lottery building and two remote offices; Weirton Lottery office and BDC (Backup Data Center) in Bridgeport, WV.
Duties include:
Maintains electronic security systems for the WV Lottery.
Work with Lottery computer personnel in the implementation of the Confidential Rules of the Multi-State Lottery.
Physical security training plans for WV Lottery staff.
Assist with purchasing documents, such as request for information, request for quotes, request for proposals (RFP’s) and Expression of Interest applicable to security and the building.
Maintain and review activity reports from the electronic door lock system. Familiar with AD400 Schlage locking systems. Generate ad hoc reports.
Review stored video on electronic media to validate and elaborate on door lock data or other information that may be pertinent to an incident of investigation.
Work with directors and administrative staff in the use of physical security equipment.
Conduct Lottery investigations that might include lottery players and retailers.
Address any building conflicts that may arise in the building potentially with employees or the public.

Training: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
OR
Substitution: Experience as described below may be substituted for the training at a rate of thirty (30) semester hours for every one (1) year of experience.
AND
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in computer science, information security, software engineering, information technology auditing, network administration, or other experience related to information technology.
Special Requirement: A valid driver’s license is required.
