Under general supervision, performs full performance level clerical work to provide administrative support functions, such as, but not limited to: Gathering, and researching information for reports, processes, and guidelines. Compiles and maintains documentation developed from information for the multiple divisions within WVOT which provides information technology support and support to statewide agencies. Assists in revising, updating, and maintaining various technical and administrative standards and procedures upon direction from management. Dictates, corrects, and maintains accurate meeting minutes/notes for staff, leadership, various multi-agency boards, and vendor meetings for documentation and distribution. The accuracy of meeting minutes/notes are extremely important as these serve as documentation of decisions made which will detail the direction of not only this agency but of multiple agencies to support the statewide IT strategy and direction. Schedules meetings on behalf of supervisor and senior leadership. Prepares correspondence for response to various technical and administrative communications received via phone, mail and/or email and in person through written and/or verbal procedural direction. Assist supervisor with clerical and minor administrative duties. This position will exercise discretion due to the nature of certain tasks performed. This position will also be responsible for assisting the working unit answering the agency phone lines.
