Position : RN, Unit Manager
Location : Deltona, FL
Position Type : Full-Time – Days
Salary : Up to $43 per hour
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with facility policies , state and federal regulations .
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to uphold high standards of patient care and ensure efficient staffing.
- Guide, mentor, and manage unit staff while optimizing scheduling for proper coverage.
- Address and resolve personnel concerns and maintain a positive, supportive work environment.
- Conduct hands-on training , evaluate nursing competencies, and contribute to staff development.
- Ensure Minimum Data Set (MDS) documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with family and resident relations and discharge planning to ensure quality care for our residents.
- Represent the nursing department in interdisciplinary meetings and participate in facility-wide improvement initiatives.
