Kindergarten Dual Language Immersion Program Teacher
Teach all core subjects in the Chinese Language for half the day; Teach a different class of
kindergarteners in Chinese language during the other part of the day; Plan all lessons and
assess all students for progress continuously throughout the school years; Plan and conduct activities for a program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that will provide the students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate as needed, all in the Chinese language; Organize and lead activities designed to promote the development of the students; Prepare assessment reports on the students and activities so as to notate how they are doing in the class and where they can improve throughout the year; Instruct students individually and in groups through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations; Confer with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve students' behavioral and academic problems; Prepare students for later grades by encouraging them to explore learning opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks; Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations; Prepare reports on students and activities as required by administration and Attend staff meetings and serve on committees, as required. Certification from New Jersey Department
