Essential Functions of a Financial Services Manager:
- Works closely and backed up Admissions to ensure payer sources, financial admissions forms, and Point Click Care are completed accurately.
- Maintain Resident Trust Fund Accounts.
- Work with residents and/ or responsible party along with our DHHS case Worker to ensure Medicaid applications are submitted timely and accurately.
- Code vendor invoices to ensure financial reports are accurate and invoicing is paid timely.
- Build relationships with residents and responsible parties to ensure private patient account are collected timely.
- Provide recommendations to the documentation systems.
Requirements for a Financial Services Manager:
- Great customer service
- High school diploma or equivalent (2-year associate degree preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Preferred 2 years of experience in long-term care/ skilled nursing facility or health care.
- Successful candidates will be team players who complement existing team members.
- Microsoft Excel Proficiency
- Experience in collections
- Experience in medical billing is an added bonus
