Compensation range: $66,000 to $100,000. Based on our Davis, CA office location. (West Yost uses geographic salary differentials that would apply for candidates in other regions).
LOCATION: Our preference is for this role to sit in our Davis or Sacramento office locations but are open to considering candidates in our other office locations. (https://www.westyost.com/locations/ ).
**This is a Hybrid role with an expectation of an in-office presence 3 days a week and 2 days remote.**

PROPOSAL COORDINATOR
BASIC JOB FUNCTION
Prepare marketing proposals and support the internal operations of the marketing department. Provides firm-wide assistance with proposals and qualifications packages, marketing communications, information management, and research, often interfacing directly with technical staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Preparation and delivery of proposals, qualifications, interviews, associated graphics, quality control reviews, and delivery process.
- Maintain log of proposals, following up on outstanding proposals regularly, and tracking wins/losses.
- Prepare interview presentations and associated graphics.
- Maintain and edit Statement of Qualifications, Professional Resumes, and Project Lists.
- Coordinate RFP search and tracking opportunities and RFP search
- Assist in conducting market and client research.
- Utilize best practices in maintaining and updating project information, resumes, and other information in our marketing files.
- Creative content development and design for print advertisements, case studies, professional resumes, mailers, press releases, social media marketing, and website content.
- Assist with preparation of interview materials and logistics.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, related degree, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- 3 years of marketing and proposal preparation experience at an Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) firm
- Superior technical writing skills and knowledge of the RFQ, RFP, proposal process
- Excellent skills in time management, organizing, writing, proofreading and editing.
- Strong graphic design capabilities.
- Strong personal initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively progress on multiple simultaneous projects.
- Experience in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop a plus.
- Experience using Deltek a plus.
