Senior Geologist II
Essential Duties and Accountabilities (in order of importance)
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals for geotechnical investigations.
- Identify and implement growth strategies for clients
- Prepare and draft geotechnical investigation report
- Lead and develop business opportunities with new and existing clients
- Develop and adhere to reasonable project schedules and deadlines.
- Prepare and review engineering geologic analyses and finalize conclusions and recommendations
- Identify and engage new clients
- Respond to RFP’s

Qualifications
Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or Environmental Science.
- 12 years’ experience in consulting engineering
- Professional licensing in the State of California
- High quality, effective technical writing and communication skills
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Master’s degree in in Civil/Environmental Engineering
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations at the state and federal level
- Prior project management experience, business development skills, experience with state and federal environmental regulations/agencies, and a strong relationship with industrial and commercial clients
