Off-grid communication network startup seeking Senior Backend Developer
Our startup client is developing off-grid communications technology (software solar-powered hardware) for Adventurers, Firefighters, DoD, Rescue Operations, and more. They're currently in need of a fully remote Senior Software Developer ( Java ) to help develop new software features for their customer applications and custom hardware (including satellite tech, Bluetooth, mesh networking, sensors, and so much more.) This is a great opportunity for a seasoned Engineer to work in a greenfield environment, impact direction, and join a team of highly talented and collaborative Developers.
An ideal candidate will have the following :
- 8 years experience building and maintaining software services
- Expert coding skills in Java / Kotlin / Spring
- Experience developing integrations with partner systems
- Startup company experience is a big plus
- BS degree in CS, Mathematics, or other STEM discipline
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative mindset
