Position: Deputy County Attorney for Criminal Prosecution
We seek a beginning attorney who can quickly grow to independently handle a misdemeanor criminal prosecution caseload, or an experienced prosecutor who can immediately handle a criminal prosecution caseload of misdemeanor and felony cases. Starting salary is $83,000 to $98,000, depending upon experience and qualifications.
Position Type: Regular, Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Non-Union. This flexible work environment includes the option of working remotely multiple days per week.

Benefits: Employees are eligible for an excellent (better than the State of Montana) Health Benefits Plan that includes health, vision, dental and prescription drug coverage. Spouses and dependents are also eligible for enrollment at no additional cost to the employee. Employees earn generous leave and receive holiday for the 10 holidays per year. Membership in the Public Employee Retirement System includes a contribution from the County beginning on your first day of employment. Annual COLA effective each July 1.
