Description
The Facility Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of a retail location and a production plant. The facility manager ensures that the business grows, offers excellent customer satisfaction, and is committed to the business's success. The facility manager will oversee daily operations and reports and increase production by providing leadership and developing strategic plans.

- Manages the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including compliance, retail sales, warehouse, production plant, and logistics, and works directly with the Branch Operation and Regional General Manager.
- Directs staff to perform their job duties in compliance with company policies and procedures, including conducting accident and incident investigations, maintaining safety awareness, and conducting monthly meetings.
- Remain compliant with all external and applicable government regulations and agencies, including FDA, DOT, EPA, and OSHA, as well as all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain stocking levels of the finished product, raw materials, and retail stock to meet production requirements, lead times, and customer needs.
- Ensure all company products meet or exceed QC standards using specified SOP testing methods.
- Coordinates all facility maintenance, repair, upgrades, and project activities to minimize any impact on the business
- Drive productivity throughout the facility and plan for future needs to maximize plant/retail capabilities to ensure continued efficiency.
- Responsible for ensuring the proper appearance, image, and security of the facility and equipment
- Maintains customer and employee contact in the work area to ensure quality service is applied.
- Handles escalated customer service issues and fully oversees a resolution.
- Responsible for providing proper job training and supporting employees in career development and growth opportunities
- Timely and accurate completion of all required reports, which may include product inventory, cylinder inventory, expense reports, financial reports, branch reporting, KPI reports, payroll
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Five (5) years in a combination of managing employees, overseeing retail and plant operations
- Ability to operate forklift operation
- Production/distribution experience required; industrial gas industry or equivalent experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of cylinder gases and the processes of each
- Knowledge of all regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and management
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft applications, TIMS CU
Supervisory Responsibility
Directly supervises the production and retail teams within the facility.

Travel
Occasional travel between locations may be needed. 0-10%
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position Exempt position. Location days and hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am-5 pm, with the occasional weekend, as needed for inventory.
