Headquartered in both Kansas City and Topeka, Evergy employs about 4,900 people who are dedicated to empowering a better future. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Customer Care Advocate, Raytown Customer Center.
Customer Care Advocate - "shall have basic clerical, bookkeeping, and account knowledge and shall be qualified through knowledge, training, and experience to interview customers in person, by telephone, internet, fax or any other communications medium. They shall handle applications for service, extension of facilities, new service and construction, and high bill inquiries. They shall be able to furnish detailed account information to customers and respond to customer inquiries regarding bill payment. They shall perform detailed analysis such as : rate adjustments, various meter orders, and resolve disputes. They shall perform credit and collection work, receive and make dispositions, and handle customer inquiries, complaints, requests for adjustment, and other duties as assigned. They must demonstrate appropriate communication skills : verbal, written, and grammar. Their skills should include experience in business math, business writing, interpersonal relations, analyzing, judgment, listening, decision making, and teamwork. They must have personal characteristics suitable for making contacts with customers and the public. Knowledge and experience in CCB system. They must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Testing : This position requires successful completion of CARR testing
Education : High School or equivalent
Experience : Experience in an inbound call center preferred
