What are the responsibilities and job description for the Programmer Analyst - Part-time (Hourly) position at WESTAT?
Westat has an immediate opening for a Programmer Analyst with experience in Voxco, specifically supporting surveys of basic and intermediate complexity. The successful applicant will have prior experience with Voxco, and experience programming and supporting broader survey data collection systems and infrastructure.
This is a part-time, telework position that may require additional support during periods of high project activity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, or customize Voxco application programming code
- Have sufficient knowledge of the data collection environment to perform maintenance tasks during survey production and support other systems and applications supporting data collection infrastructure
- Work in a team environment with developers and staff from other disciplines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer systems or applications in IT
- Experience programming or scripting computer applications for data collection
- Voxco experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior programming job experience of at least 1 year with Voxco
- Prior relevant job experience at Westat programming surveys using Voxco
- Experience in programming and maintenance tasks using Westat's data collection systems and infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail orientation towards work, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently.
