Westat's research, technical, and administrative staff of more than 2,000 is located at our headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, near Washington, DC.
Job Summary
Westat has an immediate opening for a Research Analyst to join our multidisciplinary team of researchers and program evaluators focused on mental health and substance use research and training projects. This role involves conducting background research, collecting and integrating feedback from a range of stakeholders, supporting qualitative data collection and reporting, dissemination of project work, and providing a broad range of support for project management and administration.

Job Responsibilities
- Support all stages of research from study design through data collection, management, analysis, and reporting. Data collection may include travel for site visits.
- Conduct environmental scans and literature reviews; contribute to writing case studies, reports, and profiles.
- Analyze qualitative and / or quantitative data.
- Produce infographics and other data visualization products to effectively present data and results.
- Assist with producing reports, project materials, website content, and manuscripts.
- Participate in conferences, presentations, and other outreach events.
- Coordinate project management tasks such as taking comprehensive meeting notes, coordinating internal and external meetings.
- Lead webinars, including coordinating with panelists and clients, developing marketing materials, and managing logistics.
