Position Summary
This position will require assisting customers with selecting and purchasing items in the bakery department while also delivering great customer service. In this position, a high level of product knowledge will be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Stocks and rotates bakery merchandise as directed
- Prepares, packages, and prices product as directed
- Assists customers with orders placed
- Maintain current product knowledge
- Maintains clean and organized work area free of hazards including the maintenance of overall store cleanliness
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Keeps a positive and helpful attitude during length of shift
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Proper phone etiquette while taking orders or messages
- Ability to write legible and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position
- Ability to bend, lift, and reach in all directions repeatedly
