Business Development & Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (WBHH) is seeking a Business Development and Digital Marketing Specialist to support marketing initiatives and outreach efforts while fostering relationships with community partners and referral sources.

This role blends digital marketing expertise with community engagement to enhance WBHH's visibility, reputation, and patient referrals. The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to execute outreach, social media, and content marketing initiatives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Essential Duties:

• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, schools, first responders, and community organizations to drive patient referrals
• Develop and execute outreach strategies to enhance WBHH's visibility and reputation
• Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing and outreach efforts with hospital goals
• Take a hands-on role in community engagement and digital marketing initiatives
• Assist in developing and executing a social media and online content strategy aligned with WBHH's brand
• Plan and manage local digital marketing campaigns, including landing pages, email templates, webinars, and blogs
• Lead email marketing efforts via Constant Contact or similar platforms to engage referral sources
• Guide online reputation management and refine social media strategies for brand consistency and audience engagement.
• Apply SEO best practices to website updates and monitor performance metrics using digital analytics tools.
• Create engaging digital content, including basic video production, to support outreach and marketing
• Utilize CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Zoho) to manage outreach data and referral tracking
• Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, engagement, and branding consistency
• Optimize content for SEO, including keyword placement, metadata updates, and mobile-friendly formatting
• Track and analyze marketing performance using Google Analytics, social media insights, and email campaign reports
• Other duties as assigned

• 2 years of experience in business development, digital marketing, or outreach (intern experience considered)
• Basic knowledge of SEO, online advertising, and social media strategy, with a willingness to learn
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content
• Experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns (social media, email, and outreach). 
• Ability to analyze marketing metrics (social media engagement, website traffic, and email performance) to improve strategy
• Familiarity with marketing tools like Salesforce, Canva, and Constant Contact.
• Comfort with SEO and website content management to optimize visibility
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, and Constant Contact. Manage social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
