Summary: Position responsible for direct, basic and supportive care to clients in our short term recovery program
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet Consumer and agency needs.
- Provides orientation to program, ie: rules and regulations, expectations.
- Provides an outlined daily schedule of activities.
- Provides transportation to and from appointments outside the residence.
- Provides oversight and intervention to consumers to ensure a safe and cooperative recovery environment.
- Attends and supervises all outside meetings and approved extracurricular outings, enforcing program rules.
- Records a detailed account of the consumers behavioral, medical and staff interactions in the daily shift notes.
- Maintains EMR and scans documentation into appropriate headers.
- Assists with cooking, laundry and other general household activities necessary to maintain sanitary conditions and general housekeeping upkeep.
- Offers a general account of the ending shift to the employees coming onto shift to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet consumer and agency needs.
- Complies with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations
- Maintains confidentiality of all information and complies with HIPAA regulations
- Demonstrates knowledge of and supports Westbrook Health Services mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior.
