Senior Director Behavioral Health

The Senior Director oversees operations for the Outpatient Services unit which includes the Care Coordination, Therapy, Outpatient, and Youth Services divisions and county operations.  This role focuses on enhancing service delivery and regulatory compliance. This role involves identifying business development opportunities, providing leadership to clinical and administrative teams, managing budgets, and fostering partnerships with community organizations to improve patient care and access to services.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications preferred.  A Bachelor’s degree will be considered with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in behavioral health or healthcare operations management,
• Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency and enhance service delivery.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in performance metrics and quality improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in healthcare and behavioral health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations of the Care Coordination, Outpatient Services, and Youth Services divisions as well as county operations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand services and enhance market presence.
• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to promote collaboration and resource sharing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in behavioral health.
• Provide strong leadership and supervision to clinical and administrative teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Mentor and develop staff to enhance professional growth and improve team performance.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to integrate services and improve care coordination.
• Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to achieve operational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives for quality improvement and performance metrics.
