Position:
Automotive Service Valet
Job Type: Full-Time (5-day work week)
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Automotive Service Valet plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless and positive service experience for our customers. You’ll be the first point of contact, ensuring customers feel welcomed and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet all customers entering the service area with a friendly and upbeat attitude.
Assist customers by directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.
Manage the service traffic flow and maintain efficient parking coordination.
Confirm customer appointments and gather essential vehicle information, including name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and any visible vehicle damage.
Safely drive and park vehicles as needed within the service area.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service drive area.
Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with dealership standards.
Create key tags for vehicle identification.
Remove protective materials from vehicles upon customer delivery.
Follow proper procedures when returning vehicles, ensuring no warning lights are on.
Assist with maintaining accurate records and key management.
Provide exceptional customer service by thanking customers and encouraging safe driving.
Keep up with uniform and equipment standards, including wearing a name badge and maintaining a charged headset.
Support cleanliness and organization within the service center.
Qualifications:
To succeed as a Service Valet, you should have:
A friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Prior automotive or valet experience is a plus.
