Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual support and guidance within our community. This role involves offering Christian counseling, facilitating events, and providing bereavement support to individuals and families during challenging times. The Chaplain will also engage in public speaking, mentoring, and crisis management, ensuring that all individuals receive the emotional and spiritual care they need.
Duties
- Provide Christian counseling to individuals and families, addressing their spiritual needs and concerns.
- Plan and organize events that foster community engagement and spiritual growth.
- Deliver public speaking engagements that inspire and educate audiences on various topics related to faith and spirituality.
- Offer bereavement support to those experiencing loss, guiding them through their grief process.
- Exhibit strong leadership by mentoring volunteers and staff within the organization.
- Manage crisis situations with sensitivity and professionalism, providing immediate support as needed.
- Present workshops or seminars on topics such as conflict management and personal development.
- Write reflective materials, including sermons, devotionals, or newsletters that communicate faith-based messages effectively.
Qualifications
- A degree in Theology, Divinity, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in Christian counseling or pastoral care.
- Strong event planning skills with the ability to coordinate various activities successfully.
- Excellent public speaking abilities with experience engaging diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated bereavement support experience is highly desirable.
- Effective leadership skills with a passion for mentoring others in their spiritual journey.
- Proficient in crisis management techniques with a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Strong writing skills for creating impactful written materials that resonate with the community.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $52,058.00 - $56,737.00 per year
