Lower & Middle School Physical Education Teacher
Westchester Country Day School, a PreK-12 college preparatory school located in High Point, NC, seeks a Lower and Middle School Physical Education Teacher starting in the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the field of education or another sports related field. Previous team-teaching or coaching experience is preferred. A team-oriented work ethic and an enthusiasm for helping children and adolescents learn healthy habits, develop age appropriate gross motor skills, encourage good sportsmanship, and foster a lifelong love of being active are characteristics we are seeking in a candidate. Responsibilities include team teaching PreK-5th grade P.E. classes and Middle School electives and advisory program, evaluating students on their progress, and other duties as assigned by the Head of Lower School and Head of Middle School. Candidates must also be willing to coach two to three seasons of Middle School or Varsity Athletics.
