Summary of Part Time Dermatologist Position : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatologist to join WIHD one day per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dermatology and be committed to providing exceptional collaborative patient care. As a Dermatologist, you will diagnose and treat various skin conditions and educate patients on skin health. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our adult patient with intellectual and development disabilities.
About Us : WIHD is dedicated to providing comprehensive health services and medical specialties to individuals with developmental disabilities in Westchester and beyond. Our offerings include primary care, behavioral health resources, cardiology, podiatry, and comprehensive dental care.
Responsibilities
- Diagnoses and treats diseases of the integumentary system. Completes comprehensive histories of individuals with the help of caregivers when needed and performs physical examinations of appropriate systems using evidence-based practices.
- Orders and interprets laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex conditions.
- Effectively communicates with patients and their caregivers for the purpose of patient care.
- Order appropriate consults and follow up on the clinicians’ recommendations.
