WIHD is actively recruiting an experienced Internist or Family Physician. WIHD is seeking part-time or full time candidates. The Internist position offers a part-time candidates a flexible schedule. Additionally, WIHD is noted for their work-life balance no matter the work schedule. The Internist role serves patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities at a center of excellence in Valhalla, NY. Join our team and help us pioneer programs for this unique population, including a home visits via NYS certified mobile van. Lead a team which includes two advanced primary care practitioners. Collaborate with the numerous service lines at WIHD, including: neurology, physiatry, psychiatry, dental, nutrition, podiatry, endocrinology, urology, cardiology, speech and hearing, and more.
The Internist/Family Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to include well visits, chronic disease and acute care illnesses and developing relationships with adult patients with IDD. Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Candidates must be Board-Certified and hold or able to obtain a New York State Medical License, MD or DO.
- Experience in clinical, administrative and educational leadership preferred.
- Ideal candidates will have experience or a passion working with individuals with development disabilities.
