Overview:
WJCS is seeking a Clinic Director for our vibrant and busy CCBHC Family Mental Health Clinic in Yonkers. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Executive Director of Behavioral Health Services, the Clinic Director provides direction and supervision for the evidence based clinical services provided by the strong clinical team at the WJCS CCBHC Family Mental Health Clinic.
The Clinic Director will ensure that clients seeking mental health services receive the highest quality of care from our experienced clinical, support, and care coordination teams. The Director is responsible for promoting the agency values including person centered, research proven treatment in all aspects of the work. This position is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to be actively involved in New York State’s health care reform and move to value based payment.
The salary range is $95,000-$115,000.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative and clinical supervision to staff in the clinic.
- Liaison with community and government groups.
- Partnering with colleagues within WJCS in promoting ability of staff to provide effective, efficient and sensitive mental health services.
- Managing and coordinating the overall functioning of the office including monitoring clinical productivity.
- Interfacing with other agency departments, including finance, HR, compliance and development as relevant.
- Participating and sharing information from learning collaborative and educational opportunities related to the future of mental health services in NYS.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following:
- Must be licensed by the NYS Education Department as a Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Minimum of four years’ experience working as a supervisor in a mental health program.
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and electronic medical records.
- Experience with interviewing and hiring staff.
