Overview
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient mental health clinic in Yonkers, NY. This full-time, hybrid position has a salary range of $46,000-$53,000.
Responsibilities
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Take vital signs and complete general health monitoring
- Screen for psychiatric, substance abuse, and medical problems
- Collect urine drug screen and breathalyzer test results
- Administer medications delivered through intramuscular injections
- Complete prior authorizations for specific medications when prescribed
- Keep electronic health record up to date with lab results and medical reports from outside facilities
- Receive and manage medication refill requests
- Assist with scheduling psychiatric appointments as needed
- Coordinate care with outside pharmacies and providers
- Assist with telepsychiatry
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Experience working in mental health
- Proficiency with computers
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
