We will train, lead, and guide you every step of the way.
Patient Care Coordinator / Dental Insurance Coordinator
Duties:
- Assist patients with billing inquiries, develop treatment plans, and collect fees due
-Chart and Ledger Review and Corrections for billing accuracy
-Assist with pre-determinations, mail processing, and daily reports.
- Greet patients and provide them with necessary paperwork and information
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns or complaints
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
-Request and Obtain Pre-Op Medical Clearance and/or Pre-Op Medical Reccomendations
-Request and Obtain Referral Information
Skills:
-Communication is KEY
-Well versed in all aspects of dental insurance
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using phone systems and computer software
- Knowledge of dental and medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team
