Job Description
The Senior Production Director will be accountable for implementing safety, quality, and productivity improvements across all production lines. This includes developing process instructions, work instructions, and other documentation to ensure proper procedures are followed. Additionally, this role will involve communicating with customers regarding technical data and product performance, as well as providing training and support to operations personnel and supervision.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, plus at least 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and training. Strong technical knowledge of plastic compounding/extrusion is also essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma is a plus.
