Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled Operations Technicians to join our team at Westchester Plastics, LLC.
About the Role
The Operations Technician will be responsible for setting up and safely operating equipment for material inputs and outputs, maintaining proper material stewardship, ensuring safety and housekeeping standards, handling and processing materials according to customer specifications, collaborating with the QC Lab, completing paperwork, requisitioning and returning raw materials, and cleaning up during changeovers.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to Foreman or Shift Manager/Supervisor and receive instructions on daily tasks.
- Set up and operate production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of material usage and monitor inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control Laboratory to ensure product quality meets customer specifications.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation.
- Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during production.
Requirements
- GED or High School Equivalent.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to understand and monitor production equipment.
