The Production Team Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of hourly workers engaged in operating various machines used to produce plastic compounds and blends.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate activities of hourly workers engaged in operating a variety of machines used to produce plastic compounds and blends.
- Accountable for meeting customer and corporate requirements through the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
- Responsible for department/shift quality, performance, and safety, including establishing and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
- Manage line staffing for each shift, including scheduling of vacations, personal days, etc., for employees.
- Investigate accidents and administer safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance and execution to established standards, policies, and procedures.
