About the Role
We are looking for a Shift Coordinator who will be responsible for the supervision and operating results of the production shift. As a key member of our plant management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate activities of hourly workers engaged in operating a variety of machines used to produce plastic compounds and blends.
- Accountable for meeting customer and corporate requirements through the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
- Responsible for department/shift quality, performance, and safety, including establishing and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
- Manage line staffing for each shift, including scheduling of vacations, personal days, etc., for employees.
- Investigate accidents and administer safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance and execution to established standards, policies, and procedures.
