Job Description
We are seeking Utility Workers to join our team at Westchester Plastics, LLC in Nesquehoning PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to Foreman or Shift Manager/Supervisor and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Set up and safely operate equipment for material inputs (e.g., hoppers, mixers) and outputs (e.g., shaker screens, screwlifts, baggers).
- Practice proper material stewardship of customer materials on assigned production lines.
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards on assigned production lines.
- Handle, process, label, and package materials according to customer specifications and AMETEK procedures.
- Collaborate with QC Lab to sample products and properly label/identify them.
- Ensure accurate paperwork completion in associated job folders.
- Work with Customer Service and Materials teams to requisition and/or return raw materials.
- Properly remove and label unused materials for warehouse return.
- Participate in clean-up activities during changeovers.
- Assist maintenance as needed during machine set-ups/changeovers.
Requirements:
- GED or High School Equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Able to understand and monitor production equipment.
