Experience
It is preferred, not necessary that the qualified applicant will have completed at least one (1) year of successful direct experience with developmentally disabled children and adults in a school setting.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Objectives:
To provide direct assistance to the Physical Therapist in all areas of the program, the Physical Therapy Assistant will respond to the classroom teachers when assigned to carry out programs designed by the Physical Therapist for the classroom.
Specifications:
Demonstrate the ability to implement the school’s Physical Therapy program as prescribed by, and with the supervision of, the Physical Therapist.
Participate as a member of the Clinical Team in order to assist in the coordination of interdisciplinary efforts in establishing long and short term goals, as assigned by the Physical Therapist.
Recommend to the Physical Therapist, treatment priorities, scheduling and procedures for providing therapy services.
Provide therapy services on an individual and/or small group basis as established by and with the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
Maintain appropriate student records including I.E.P. documentation, progress notes and reassessment data, and reports to the Physical Therapist.
Maintain and utilize appropriate therapeutic materials necessary to conduct the Physical program.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
