Our continuing success creates attractive opportunities for purpose-driven professionals to develop new skills, support vital industries, and grow their careers.Summary : The Aftermarket Account Manager works independently and with the contracted local sales representatives / agents in the assigned territory to sell parts and services for existing equipment to WesTech customers in the industrial and municipal markets. Travel up to 50%. The current territory covers : Northern OH, WV, PA, MD, DE, NJ, CT, NY, MA, NH, ME, and Eastern Canada starting with Ontario through Prince Edward Island. Some of the work you will do : Build rapport and trust with WesTech's internal employees, equipment owners, operators and agentsHelp build WesTech's brand and image in the assigned territoryHelp establish WesTech as the recognized expert and preferred supplier in the industryDevelop a general knowledge of : The operations, features and benefits of all WesTech products.Maintenance requirements and operations best practices for common equipment.Competitor's products, trends and activities.Support company-level objectives while interacting with owners, operators and agents : Aftermarket Sales opportunities of WesTech as well as non-WesTech supplied equipment.Proactively prospect and find opportunities to support and grow profitable aftermarket sales and services in your assigned territory, industry, product, or key customer base.Tracking existing WesTech installations in industrial, water and wastewater plantsUpdating installation lists and plant contact information in the NAV and CRM databases. Composing and entering trip reports into CRM system.Create, implement, track and report progress on a sales plan for your assigned territory, industry, or product focus.Prospect, identify, track and follow up on leads, open quotes and opportunities regularly and enter related information into CRM.Be proactive. Rather than waiting for customers, agents or internal customers to bring up issues or ask about products or services or tasks, take action, talk to and visit them first. Anticipate customer needs and provide solutions tailored to their needs and follow up on all action items to completion.Follow up on quotations to supply aftermarket parts and services for WesTech equipment.Identify and refer sales opportunities for new capital sales to the municipal and industrial sales groups.Play active role in transitioning new equipment installations from the project manager to aftermarket by ensuring the correct contact information, warranty period and history are entered into the job card and CRM.Create a monthly report describing contacts with agents and customers and sales generated.Here are the skills that you need : High School Diploma or GED with personal integrity, positive attitude, strong work ethic and personal standard of excellence. Ability and desire to learn and grow.Four or more years of work experience in sales and / or field service in the water / wastewater industry.Ability to travel frequently domestically and internationally up to 50%.Computer literate including Microsoft Office products, email, and Customer Relationship Management software products.Current existence and maintenance of a good driving record.Ability to generate and execute a territory-specific sales plan based on installed equipment base and company initiatives.Self-starter, with ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously. Safety first mindset and practices.Here are the skills and qualifications that will set you apart : Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Communications, or Engineering or related field.
