The Central Issue Facility (CIF) Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the operations of the CIF. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient distribution, accountability, and inventory control of equipment and supplies to organizational and unit personnel. As the CIF Supervisor, you will lead a team, develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), and coordinate with various departments to meet mission-critical objectives. The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills, a background in supply chain management, and familiarity with military or government CIF operations. This position is ideal for a proactive, mission-driven individual committed to maintaining operational excellence while supporting the equipment and supply needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all day-to-day activities of the CIF, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team responsible for receiving, inspecting, cataloging, and issuing equipment and supplies. Conduct regular team meetings to review processes, assign tasks, and address concerns.
• Maintain detailed records of inventory, including incoming and outgoing equipment, repairs, and replacements.
• Ensure proper accountability of all equipment, supplies, and materials in accordance with military and government standards.
• Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs for the CIF to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Regularly update procedures based on organizational or regulatory changes.
• Coordinate with unit representatives to identify equipment needs and ensure timely issue and return of materials.
• Oversee equipment turn-in and serviceability inspections for redeployment or reutilization.
• Perform regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with safety protocols.
• Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Provide comprehensive training for staff on CIF procedures, equipment handling, and customer service best practices.
• Maintain staff readiness by cross-training on critical functions.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast supply demands and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Identify and address supply chain challenges proactively.
• Monitor performance metrics to evaluate CIF operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed reports for leadership on CIF operations, inventory status, and staff performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for units and departments requesting equipment or services.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
