Job Description Summary :
Performs the dual duties of the Physical Security and Facilities Administrator at Schofield Barracks and works directly under the direct supervision of the Program Manager. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating a sound and effective security and facilities management program throughout the organization. Responsibilities include overseeing physical security, key control, facility management, compliance with Army regulations, and coordination of readiness, mobilization, training, and technical assistance efforts. This position conducts physical security inspections, internal reviews, audits, and facilities management at all contract site locations within the 402nd AFSBn-HI footprint. Travel to Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) on the Big Island, Hawaii, may be required.
This role is integral to maintaining a secure and functional environment for employees and customers, ensuring compliance with Army regulations, and providing effective facilities management solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct and collect monthly Random Antiterrorism Measures (RAM) from various site locations as directed by the Battalion / Brigade S-3.
- Ensure compliance with Army regulations, including DA PAM and DA Army Regulations for physical security. Familiarity with Army Regulation 190-13, The Army Physical Security Program, is required.
- Write, update, and maintain the Physical Security SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to align with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Army Regulations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for physical security requirements and standards, ensuring compliance throughout all contract operations.
- Schedule and conduct internal physical security checks, audits, and site inspections.
- Produce and submit comprehensive physical security inspection summary reports and document any deficiencies with corrective action plans.
- Develop, recommend, and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive action plans for security deficiencies.
- Provide training and technical assistance to employees to promote a security-conscious culture.
- Research regulatory compliance issues and provide recommendations to ensure documentation and processes conform to applicable requirements.
- Administer and oversee key control systems, ensuring accountability and security of all facilities under the contract.
- Monitor and manage facility work order submissions, tracking progress to completion.
- Conduct regular facilities inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
- Prepare and submit reports related to facility conditions, repairs, and operational improvements.
- Manage schedules and deadlines for facility-related projects to meet organizational and customer goals.
