Summary
WesTech is in search of an Electrical Technician Intern for a paid summer internship. Candidates for this position may be required to pass pre-employment and periodic screenings, including background checks, drug and alcohol tests, or other necessary assessments.
Some of the work you will do:
- Fabricate electrical control panels
- Wire skids
- Complete other electrical work as needed
Here are the skills that you need:
- Basic knowledge, experience, or training in motor controls.
- Basis knowledge of electrical systems and/or wiring.
Here are the skills and qualifications that will set you apart:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience with robotics control systems.
- Progress toward or acquisition of an Electrical Journeyman License.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move about facility, spend long amounts of time working on panels using hands and close vision
- Must be able to lift up to 40-70 lbs.
- Comply with all safety regulations
