POSITION: AgExpress Loan Officer - Western AgCredit
LOCATION: Spanish Fork, Utah
COMPENSATION: Grade 10-11 ($60,000-$81,591) Depending on education and experience, plus up to 15% additional performance based variable incentive compensation. Comprehensive benefits package also provided.
RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible to develop and service loan portfolio within the AgExpress division. (This division services members with total borrowing relationships less than $250,000 across all industries and branch locations.) Within delegated authority, manage credit quality, credit administration, and portfolio performance. Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority. Develop new business and ensure that the needs of members and prospects are met in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Association. Complete loan officer training program. Perform field reports and inspections and other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE: BA/BS degree with emphasis in accounting, agriculture or business required. Will consider applicants actively pursuing a degree with anticipated completion in less than 12 months. Applicant must have a basic understanding of production agriculture. Good analytical, accounting, written and verbal communication skills. Experience using office equipment, personal computers and related software. Experience in Agricultural lending preferred.
Applicant must have ability to interact effectively and work well with people at all levels and to convey ideas clearly. Require skills in planning and organization. Applicant must be a self-motivator with a good work ethic and ability to exercise initiative and judgment.
GENERAL DATA: For over 100 years, the Association has been providing agricultural lending services to commercial and mortgage borrowers in Utah and portions of Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona.
