POSITION: VP-Correspondent Lending Officer
LOCATION: TBD
COMPENSATION: Depending on education and experience, plus additional performance based variable incentive compensation. Comprehensive benefits packages are also provided.
RESPONSIBILITY: Develop and maintain relationships with commercial bank lenders and participation partners to execute the Associations correspondent lending strategy to develop new participation lending opportunities. Manage an assigned participation purchased lending portfolio within delegated authority by analyzing and evaluating financial information, assessing risk levels, monitor portfolio performance, and manage growth. Serve as a resource to participation partners and internal credit staff in completing loan analysis and servicing, monitoring credit risk, and communicating the Association's risk appetite for new participation lending offers.
Act as a member of the Association loan committees as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree with emphasis in accounting, agriculture or business.
- Require a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in agribusiness credit analysis, managing customer relationships, business development and loan portfolio management.
- Demonstrated ability to independently analyze complex credits and commercial loan packages and apply sound judgment. This includes having a thorough understanding of financial accounting and financial statements, such as complex consolidations, tax return analysis, borrowing base reports, global cash flow, and reconciliations.
- Demonstrated expertise in credit administration, financial and credit analysis, business development, and problem resolution.
- Applicants must have a basic understanding of agriculture and possess good analytical, accounting, written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience with Farm Credit Regulations is preferred.
- Mobility on unimproved properties and ability to lift 40 pounds or more required. Some travel required in performance of job.
GENERAL DATA: For over 100 years, the Association has been providing agricultural lending services to commercial and mortgage borrowers in Utah and portions of Wyoming, Nevada and Arizona.
