What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Maintenance Technician position at Western Ag Enterprises?

We are looking to hire a Fleet Maintenance technician who will be responsible for preventive and basic maintenance/repair of a fleet (trucks - diesel and gas, and other heavy duty equipment) are performed in compliance with Company safety and compliance standards, and with all federal and state regulations.

The Fleet Maintenance technician is responsible for planning and scheduling repair work and ensure that all work is done in a safe and timely manner, reducing lost productivity.

Maintaining accurate service records

Inspect, repair, replace, mount / balance light and heavy duty tires

Orders parts as needed, enters data into computer system, maintains records of parts requisitions, inventory and work orders

Diagnoses and repairs of major component systems such as engine (gas/diesel), transmission (automatic/manual), differentials, brakes (automotive/heavy duty to include air, abs and hydraulic) and sub-systems relating to drive ability, electrical system, fuel systems, hydraulic systems and comfort control systems

Operate a variety of trucks, equipment, and hand tools in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures

Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment, and deliver to job sites as directed.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

May be subject to extreme temperatures, wetness/humidity, noise, and vibration

May be subject to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dust, poor, ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel

Candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Perform other duties as assigned

Se busca contratar a un técnico para el mantenimiento de flotas con conocimientos básicos de mecánica para el mantenimiento/reparación preventivo y básico de una flota (camiones, diésel y gas, y otros equipos pesados) que se realizan de conformidad con las normas de seguridad y cumplimiento de la empresa y con todas las reglamentaciones federales y estatales.

El técnico de mantenimiento de flotas es responsable de planificar y programar el trabajo de reparación y garantizar que todo el trabajo se realice de manera segura y oportuna, lo que reduce la pérdida de productividad.

Mantener registros de los servicios

Inspeccione, repare, reemplace, monte / equilibre neumáticos livianos y pesados

Ordenar piezas según sea necesario, mantener registros de órdenes de partes, inventario y registros de órdenes de trabajo.

Diagnosticar y reparar sistemas de componentes principales, como motor (gasolina/diésel), transmisión (automática/manual), diferenciales, frenos (automotrices/de trabajo pesado que incluyen aire, ABS e hidráulico) y subsistemas relacionados con la capacidad de conducción, sistema eléctrico , sistemas de combustible, sistemas hidráulicos y sistemas de control de confort

Operar una variedad de camiones, equipos y herramientas manuales de acuerdo con todas las normas y procedimientos de seguridad.

Carga y descarga de materiales, suministros y equipos, y entrega a los lugares de trabajo según las indicaciones.

Capacidad para levantar hasta 50 libras.

Puede estar sujeto a temperaturas extremas, humedad/humedad, ruido y vibraciones

Puede estar sujeto a piezas mecánicas en movimiento, vibraciones, humos, olores, polvo, mala ventilación, productos químicos, aceites, temperaturas extremas, iluminación inadecuada, restricciones en el espacio de trabajo, ruidos intensos y viajes.
