What you'll do :
The position of Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Manager ("PM") is responsible for identifying and underwriting syndicated and middle market Leveraged Loans. The PM performs a variety of functions including investment research, industry research, building financial models for prospects, maintaining financial models for portfolio, making recommendations and participating in team credit discussion.
- Performs assessment and analysis of financial conditions and risk of financing requests within framework of the team's credit culture and current economic and industry trends
- Gathers and analyzes all information necessary to present financing requests to senior management
- Approves loan payments, draws from lines of credit within specified limits
- Understands the business implications of decisions; displays orientation to profitability
- Participates with senior management in developing, analyzing, and finalizing major and complex loan agreements with representatives of large businesses
- Participates in various internal committees assigned by senior management
What you'll need :
Compensation : Salary range for new hires is generally $100,300.00 - $122,358.00 for Los Angeles, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus / incentives earned and restricted stock.
