Mortgage Warehouse Payments Coordinator/General Ledger Specialist

What you'll do:

• Process a high volume of mortgage warehouse payoff transactions with accuracy and precision, reviewing documents to ensure data accuracy, including but not limited to loading incoming wires to system of record and matching incoming Purchase Advise with to wires after loading.
• Process more complex GL reconciliations to ensure the bank's records are accurate.
• Exhibits superior customer service and appropriate follow-up with customers and internal customers.
• Consistently applies superior decision-making techniques pertaining to inquiries, approvals, and payoff requests as they apply to existing policies and procedures.
• Assists Loan Officers and other Bank personnel as needed; and resolve inquiries or issues relating to Warehouse Lending operations.

What you'll need:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 2-3 years of experience in the banking, insurance or financial industry preferred.
• General bookkeeping, exposure to accounting concepts and experience with GL balancing, preferred.
• Basic knowledge of financial products and services.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to process a high volume of recurring transactions daily under tight timelines.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to review high volume of email communications daily.
