As a Receivables Supervisor you'll be responsible for one or more of the Bank's item processing operation, RDC, mobile deposit, Transacts, or Lockbox Operation which enables customers to accept electronic and traditional paper-based payments from clients by capturing information with efficient technology and transferring it to output files and reporting. You'll lead a team of Processors and Team Leads to expedite collections of receivables from multiple channels and ensuring that bank statements are delivered accurately and timely, reconciling the general ledgers, and participating in quality controls of certification while focusing on providing a high level of customer service. Key responsibilities include managing the day-to-day workflow of a high volume receivables operation, branch capture, statement processing, performing advanced research, ensuring that the workload is properly distributed, identifying and initiating process improvements, and developing/maintaining desktop procedures.- Responsible for supporting the Receivables Manager in promoting and building a comprehensive, prompt and efficient receivables experience. Ensure the daily operations run smoothly, efficiently and the daily workflow is completed.
- Monitor and reviews department performance to ensure standards and SLAs are met. Oversee the processes of branch capture, processing payments and/or correspondence, reviewing payments to ensure accuracy, and balancing and reconciliation of daily work according to established procedures. Work with vendors as needed, schedules service calls for hardware/software, schedules upgrades, and resolves complex technical issues.
- Lead the team in resolving issues, identifies performance failures and daily task obstacles. Ensure staffing needs are met in accordance to the volume and business need. Provide clarity and direction, and exhibits the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved.
- Lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.
What you'll need:
- 3 years of related experience in Branch Banking Operations or similar field.
- High school diploma required.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Back office receivables operations experience.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
