The building has 3 gyms (including two court Aux and JH Gyms) and a 3,200 Sq. Ft. Hammer and Strength weight room. The High School employs a Full Time Strength and Conditioning Coach and Full Time Strength and Conditioning teacher during the school day. The Athletic Dept. institutes a structured 3 x per week summer Strength and Conditioning program supported by all head coaches and ran by the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. The summer sessions include a Freshman body weight group (learn correct techniques) and an Advanced group that is graduated to as Sophomores and beyond.
Youth And Feeder System
Western Boone’s Boys Basketball program uses the three-gym facility to operate a Fall Basketball League that included teams from each youth grade level, competes in the Monon Athletic Conference Travel League. The two corporation elementary schools each have 5th grade teams (25 players in 5th grade in 2024-25). The Junior High seasons ends at Winter Break, allowing youth players to participate in travel teams after Winter Break at the PAC, Lebanon Fieldhouse, etc. Candidates should put a priority on the feeder system and youth development within the Boys Basketball program.

- Western Boone Jr-Sr High School Boys Basketball Head Coach (2025-26)
- Extensive basketball coaching experience
- Understanding of all facets of a successful basketball program
- Strong leader and communicator
- Certified Teacher – teaching positions available: Math and PE teaching positions and potential opportunities in other subject areas
- Letter of interest, Current resume, Names and phone numbers of at least 3 references, Copy of current licensure, College/university transcripts and Western Boone employment application.
- Western Boone competes in Class 2A in IHSAA Sectional #37 – IHSAA and Monon Athletic Conference Member
- 2024-25 High School program consisted of JV and Varsity teams. Program numbers are strong.
- High School: 22 players -- 8th Grade: 16 players -- 7th Grade: 14 players -- 6th Grade: 15 players
- High School Program has a minimum of 4 paid positions. Junior High Program has 6 paid positions (2 per grade)
