Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Type: Full-time
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing after-install technical support to our customer. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical care to customers by making adjustments and/or repairs, replacing parts and pieces, and taking measurements for door and/or window units
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues
- Requisition parts from inventory or from supplier as needed to complete work
- Communicate professionally with Sales Managers and customers
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, through written documentation and imaging
- Schedule and travel to appointments within territory
- Drive company vehicle; maintain vehicle and contents
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree or certification preferred
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of millwork
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry heavy and/or awkward materials
