Job Summary:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Truss Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling cut materials into roof trusses according to precise specifications. You’ll also take on tasks such as pulling plates, stacking finished products, and ensuring our products are handled with the utmost care.

Essential Functions:
- Read and Interpret: Accurately read and follow work orders and production schedules, whether typed, handwritten, or on a computer screen.
- Equipment Operation: Set up and operate presses, nail guns, and other necessary equipment with precision.
- Assembly: Place cut materials and plates exactly per specification, ensuring a perfect fit every time.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct continuous quality checks throughout the assembly process to meet our stringent accuracy and quality standards, including dimensions, lumber grades, and overall build integrity.
- Handling and Stacking: Safely lift, stack, band, and mark finished products. Move products using carts to designated areas efficiently.
- Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and the work area to keep operations running smoothly.
- Reporting: Promptly report any equipment issues or product deficiencies to the Truss Shop Lead.
- Adherence to Procedures: Follow all company procedures—both written and unwritten—to maintain our high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team, embracing our company values of Leadership, Discipline, and Consistency, while striving for Excellence in every task.
- Other Duties: Accept and excel in other duties as assigned by the Truss Shop Lead.
