Position Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist provides a variety of human resource functions, supporting the HR Department and various WCCA programs. This role focuses on providing services to bilingual staff. This position is on-site at our Main Office in Hendersonville, NC and is not a remote position.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data entry: Updating Workforce Go and Child Plus with applicant and employee file updates.
- Coordinates and administers the agency's Wellness program.
- Provides receptionist coverage as scheduled, typically 6-8 hours per week.
- Assists with recruitment and pre-boarding processes.
- Supports the department in various human resources program procedures for all agency employees.
- Answers routine questions from employees and applicants regarding employment procedures, policies, and other HR-related topics, with an emphasis on providing HR information to bilingual staff.
- Assists in communication by interpreting and translating with Spanish-speaking clients for the agency.
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements and funding source regulations.
- Conducts new hire orientation.
