This is a Full -Time non-exempt 12 12-month position scheduled Monday - Friday
Center Floater responsibilities include:
- Engaging in classroom activities and teaching in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the WNCSource Head Start program building and maintaining a positive, nurturing, and supportive relationship with the children and families.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the classroom and on the playground.
- This position assists the Site Supervisor/Center Director in providing high-quality supplemental support in Early Head Start, Head Start, NC Pre-K and Wrap Around programs.
- This individual will step in to assist the classroom in the care and supervision of the children in the absence of a Teacher, Teacher Assistant, or Support and may also be asked to assist the Site Supervisor/Center Director, Office Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Cook or other staff as needed
