This is a Part Time nonexempt 12-month position scheduled Monday - Friday 9:00am to 1:00pm. The pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
Early Head Start Infant Support Teacher responsibilities include:
- Engaging in classroom activities and teaching in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the WNCSource Head Start program building and maintaining a positive, nurturing, and supportive relationship with the children and families.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the classroom and on the playground.
- Assist in providing high-quality supplemental support, responsive caregiving and educational experiences in an Early Head Start setting. Provide staff breaks, classroom coverage, kitchen aid and another center support as needed.
