What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Volleyball Coach position at Western Carolina University?
The primary location of this position is the Cullowhee, NC campus.
Assist in the coordination of the overall operation and management of the university’s

intercollegiate athletics volleyball program, including but not limited to: recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes, individual and team preparation, practice and game organization and coaching, scheduling, and alumni and community relations.
Comply with NCAA, the Southern Conference and University policies and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Interested candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment sponsorship or any other immigration-related assistance.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution. One year of club and/or collegiate coaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years or more of collegiate coaching experience preferred with demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
